Led information

The LED technology is going through tremendous changes, but it is
a relatively old invention.
In 1906 H.J. Round mentioned in a description of his experiment with
SiC (carborundum) the effect of electroluminescence. IBM in 1964
started to use GaAsp-LEDs on its print circuits for the first mainframe
computers.

LED offered a good alternative to conventional lighting being small,
having 40 years life and low energy use. At the same time Texas
Instruments started to use the LED technology for their calculators
and printers.

LEDs have entered our world in microwave ovens, displays, calculators,
computers and printers to never leave again because of their reliability.
Through innovation and product development we will be able to supply
our sales agents and the end consumer with a constant stream of
products that upgrade the quality of your daily life.

The lighting industry stands on the eve of a revolution: LEDs.
The intrinsic, dynamic features of LED create more and new opportunities
to express creativity by means of lighting products. We broaden the limits
of lighting by using LEDs. The lighting market is besides the solar panel
market, the solar heating and the bio-diesel generators one of the main
markets that Energy Research is going to concentrate on.
